Yuya leads our Community Outreach in Japan, building strong connections with students, partners, and local organizations. He supports EnglishWD’s mission by creating opportunities for engagement and growth in the Japanese community.
Hollis Song
Teacher
Hollis Song is an ESL teacher with a Bachelor’s in Linguistics from the University of Florida and a CELTA certification from Oxford TEFL. Fluent in English and French, Hollis has experience teaching students of all ages both online and in-person.
Kim Levi
Teacher
Kim is an ESL teacher from the Netherlands with a background in English literature and teaching from university. She has experience tutoring grammar, reading, and other English skills since high school.
Anastasiia Ronzhina
Teacher & Speaking Club Coordinator
Anastasiia is from Russia and brings energy, creativity, and warmth to every class. She leads EnglishWD’s Speaking Clubs, creating engaging discussions that help students express themselves confidently and naturally. With her supportive teaching style, she makes learning both effective and enjoyable.

How We Started

EnglishWD began with a simple idea: students deserve better support when learning English. After years of teaching online, we noticed a common pattern. Many learners were motivated and hardworking, yet struggled to find the right teacher and the right kind of guidance. Lessons were often unstructured, and students were left to figure things out on their own.
We believed there had to be a better way.
That belief became EnglishWD, a small, high-quality English school focused on each individual student. From the beginning, our mission has been to create a learning experience that feels personal, professional, and genuinely helpful.
