Yuya leads our Community Outreach in Japan, building strong connections with students, partners, and local organizations. He supports EnglishWD’s mission by creating opportunities for engagement and growth in the Japanese community.
Hollis Song
Teacher
Hollis Song is an ESL teacher with a Bachelor’s in Linguistics from the University of Florida and a CELTA certification from Oxford TEFL. Fluent in English and French, Hollis has experience teaching students of all ages both online and in-person.
Kim Levi
Teacher
Kim is an ESL teacher from the Netherlands with a background in English literature and teaching from university. She has experience tutoring grammar, reading, and other English skills since high school.

How We Started
EnglishWD began with a simple idea: students deserve better support when learning English. After years of teaching online, we saw a pattern — many learners were motivated and hardworking, but still struggled to find the right teacher and the right kind of help. Lessons were often unstructured, and students were left to figure things out on their own.
We believed there had to be a better way.
So we started EnglishWD — a small, high-quality English school focused on each individual student. From day one, our goal has been to create a learning experience that feels personal, professional, and truly helpful. Every student is matched with a dedicated teacher. Every class is designed with care and purpose. And every teacher is respected, supported, and paid fairly — because great teaching leads to great results.
